Tickets
CSS Day 2026 regular tickets are €675 ex. VAT (€816,75).
- On Thursday 14th of May the ticket price will increase to €750 ex. VAT (€907,50).
- A group discount of 10% for orders of at least 5 tickets is available. (You should order all these tickets at the same time to qualify for this discount — you don't get a discount code or anything.)
Get your tickets here. They include:
- Access to the conference
- Coffee, tea, lunch, and refreshments throughout both days
- Drinks and a bite on both evenings
You can pay tickets by immediate online payment such as iDEAL or credit card. Paying via invoice is also possible, but only until 30 April 2026 — orders placed later must be paid immediately.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to someone else. We expect all our attendees to be aware of our code of conduct.
You may not use CSS Day tickets as a prize in or a part of any promotion or sweepstakes without our permission. We'll void such tickets without reimbursement.
Teacher/student programme
Are you a CSS teacher at a university? If you buy a ticket for yourself, you may be able to take a few of your students with you.
If at least one teacher from an educational institution buys a ticket, we'll try to get you some free student tickets. We can't promise specific numbers; it depends on ticket sales, savings elsewhere in the budget, and the number of participating schools.
Please let us know before the end of April if you want to enroll in this programme.
VAT
Since the conference is taking place in The Netherlands, 21% Dutch VAT will be added to all ticket prices.
Article 53 of the European VAT directive requires us to charge VAT even to foreigners:
"B2B services in respect of admission to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar events will be taxed at the place where those events actually take place."
Visa
To visit the conference you may need to apply for a short-stay Schengen visa. This may take over a month, especially if you haven't applied for one previously. We advise you to start the visa application process no later than late April.
One thing you'll need is an invitation letter from us. Order and pay your conference ticket. Then let us know that you need a letter and we'll send you one.
If you send us evidence that your visa was rejected we will reimburse your ticket. However, the deadline for doing so is 28th of May. Rejections after that date will not be reimbursed.
